What my job is: Greeting the public and answering questions. Helping the rangers with their jobs.
What I like best about my job: The chance to make a difference. For instance I helped to rescue a pelican and it got released it back into the wild. I like the outdoors.
What I like least about my job: It is all fun!
Advice for kids who would like a job like mine: Volunteer like I'm doing. It is good experience and a lot of fun, even if it does not involve wildlife. Join clubs and service organizations.

Goal: My dream goal is to work with the Fish and Wildlife Service or the National Park Service. I like to interact with the wildlife and study the biology. Since there is so much competition for those jobs, I will probably work for a corporation. I could be a consultant on endangered species and help companies to avoid ruining a species' habitat when they are constructing new buildings.
